My name is Stephanie Sekou, the founder of Studio Tian. My entire jewelry collection is handmade slowly and intentionally in small batches at my home art studio in a town one hour south of Frankfurt, Germany.

Each material used is hypoallergenic, lead free and nickel free. Materials include: gold fill, sterling silver, glass and gemstones. 

I was born and raised in Rowland Heights, California to immigrant parents born in Taiwan. After earning my MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon, I decided to head back home to Los Angeles. I worked full time as a real estate assistant and book keeper for a few years before going full time with my business. At the time my business was called Wilder Bag Co. because I started my business as a Vintage Coach Bag reseller on Etsy.

In the next five years I see myself owning a co-op retail and art studio that will be a community meeting center for open mics, pop up events, town hall meetings, and small business workshops.
